atlink — OAuth access

atlink is a free, open-source command-line tool published by Spyced Concepts that integrates with Atlassian Jira and Confluence. When you use atlink, you authorise it to access your Atlassian account through Atlassian’s own OAuth 2.0 login flow. The following terms apply to your use of atlink.

What atlink accesses. atlink requests permission to read and write Jira issues and Confluence pages within the Atlassian instance you specify. It does not access any other Atlassian products, accounts, or data.

How credentials are stored.atlink stores OAuth tokens locally on your machine using your operating system’s secure credential store (macOS Keychain, Linux SecretService, or a mode-0600 file as a fallback). Tokens are never sent to Spyced Concepts or any third party. Spyced Concepts does not have access to your Atlassian credentials.

Revoking access. You can revoke atlink’s access to your Atlassian account at any time from the Atlassian connected apps page. You can also remove locally stored tokens by running atlink auth clear.

No warranty.atlink is provided “as is” without any warranty. Spyced Concepts accepts no liability for data loss, API changes, or any other consequences arising from your use of atlink against your Atlassian instance.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions to access and modify the Jira projects and Confluence spaces you use atlink with. Do not use atlink in ways that violate your organisation’s policies or Atlassian’s Cloud Terms of Service.
